Back in the routine...

I've asked several of our current team members to contribute to the blog this semester.  They, obviously, can contribute a more interesting perspective of the Case experience than I can!

This update is by Kristina Vaci, a freshman biomedical engineering major from Mentor, Ohio.

"The second semester has just started and it's off to a great start.  Classes are relatively easygoing at the moment and the overall atmosphere is quite relaxing.  Offseason workouts just started, and I'm excited to say everyone is doing them at 100%.  It's nice to come to pick-up games every Friday and see how driven the team is to play and get better for next season, yet we still have tons of fun.  The real fun is in our intramural basketball games that started last week. We've split into two teams and my team had its first game last Wednesday.  We came out with high spirits, and though we may have lost (and not scored the whole second half)...it was still the best part of my day!  Besides, we're soccer girls, we don't know what to do with our hands!

Formal recruitment started for sororities (if you're into going into a room of a million of girls talking at once and asking the same question).  Let's just say it was not for me, though everyone else seemed to have a fantastic time.  It's a great way to get involved in the school.

I'm happy to be back at Case after a great break because as much as I love home...nothing is better than being able to see all my friends at school.  It's even better to know that a short break strengthens our team because the weekend we got back we all hung out as per usual.  I'm excited to see how this semester goes!"
